The president serves to facilitate connections, stay true to the mission statement, and functions as a point of contact for concern. Responsibilities include administrative tasks, enacting larger goals, maintaining company relationships, and submitting the necessary reports to national AIChE, the A&M Chen department, etc.

VP Finance

Harrison Watts - finance.aichetamu@gmail.com

The VP Finance is responsible for managing company donations and AIChE expenditures, This entails managing the budget, developing the sponsorship package, submitting reimbursements, and assisting with the marketplace. 

VP Internal

Kelsey O’Brien - internal.vp.aichetamu@gmail.com

The VP Internal is in charge of planning regular socials and the JEB Gala in the spring. They also head a committee to plan and execute these socials and events, with a mix of recruiting socials and just-for-fun events.

VP Programs

Charles Maher - programs.aichetamu@gmail.com

The VP Programs works with company reps, food caterers, and the officer team to coordinate general meetings and lunch & learns. They also oversee the professional development chair, special events coordinator, and programs committee.

VP External

Alexi Bowker - external.aichetamu@gmail.com

The VP External is responsible for connecting our student chapter of AIChE to our local community and to chapters around the globe. Whether it be through in-person conferences or virtual meetings, VP External is the primary connector of this student chapter to the world.

VP Publicity

Ella Mulholland - publicity.aichetamu@gmail.com

The VP Publicity is responsible for keeping members up to date on upcoming events and increasing recruitment and attendance through advertising in the merchandise, emails, and more. They also run a committee that assists in poster and merchandise design.

Career Fair Director

Coby Scrudder

The Career Fair Chair organizes AIChE’s Annual Fall Career Fair, connecting Texas A&M Chemical Engineering students with companies recruiting for internships and full-time roles.

Community Service Chair

The role of the community service chair is to plan volunteer events for AIChE. This can be an event for a charity, TAMU event, community event, or as a drive for clothes, toys, blood, etc.

Career Fair Deputy

Emiliano Alcazar Zamora

The Career Fair Deputy helps organize AIChE’s Fall Career Fair and Spring Pre-Career Fair Social, connecting Texas A&M Chemical Engineers with recruiters, and transitions into Career Fair Director the following year.

Sophomore Retreat Internal Director

James Eaves

The sophomore retreat internal director facilitates and directs the AIChE sophomore retreat. They serve as the face of the retreat and act as the liaison between AIChE and the retreat committee.

Financial Assistant

Cristian Finley

The Financial Assistant supports the VP Finance by helping manage donations, track expenses, process reimbursements, and assist with budgeting, sponsorships, and marketplace operations.

Professional Development Chair

The Professional Development Chair is responsible for hosting and organizing events to improve the technical and soft skills of our members.

ChemE-Car Chair

The ChemE-Car chair represents the ChemE-Car team on the AIChE officer team while also making sure the team is on track with the competition schedule.

Society Representative

Zach Goyt -

The society representative is responsible for coordinating the relationship between AIChE and other relevant organizations. They are also responsible for outreach to organizations within the community, and events hosted by the student engineering council

Historian

Olivia Mulholland

The historian is responsible for regularly updating the AIChE website and Instagram page with upcoming events and general information. In addition, they take pictures at the events and make the final scrapbook and slideshow at the end of the school year.

Bee-A-ChemE Chair

Cynthia Anderson -

The Bee-A-ChemE Chair leads outreach efforts to inspire underprivileged K–12 students to pursue STEM by showcasing the real-world impact of Chemical Engineering through interactive demonstrations.

Freshman Representative

The freshman representatives are responsible for connecting freshman to AIChE and keeping them informed on upcoming events. They also schedule events specifically for freshman and developing them professionally in a social setting.

Special Events Coordinator

The Special Events Coordinator will be responsible for organizing Plant Trips, tailgates, and any other special events for the organization.
